Why is training important?

Relevant legislation

It’s important that you comply with the law and understand the positive impact training can have on your organisation.

Like all workplaces, organisations operating in the Hospitality and Leisure sectors must ensure they fulfil their legal duties to employee health and safety as laid out in The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 . In addition, any establishment that prepares or serves food must ensure they have trained their staff in line with The Food Hygiene Regulations 2006 and Food Information Regulations EU1169/2011. Legislation such as The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 are also relevant. For more information on legislative requirements, please refer to specific course pages.

We have been using iHasco for a number of years now and have always found the courses and LMS very user-friendly. The courses are quick and easy to access and there are a multitude of courses available.
