1Dealing with personal loss and grief
About this course
Grief is something that we will all experience in our lifetime. It’s a natural response to loss which often manifests in intense emotional pain or sadness. The grieving process affects everyone differently, and will often be complex and unpredictable. This course will help explain coping strategies, as well as how to navigate grief and loss. Feeling a sense of loss comes from different life events, including the death of a loved one; to the end of a meaningful relationship; losing a job; developing an illness; loss of a dream; or even the death of a cherished pet.
We’ll cover misconceptions about grief and loss, common emotional responses, and grief models. With its compassionate approach, this course is designed to help you process emotions, adapt to life after loss, and regain a sense of balance.
