This course sets out to prove a point (or many) about human conscious and unconscious behaviour. It is, in itself, full of pseudo science and biases. Whilst well-meaning it only encourages staff to question themselves in a way that the course designers have decided is the correct way of thinking and behaving. It was, to use a vernacular, a load of bollocks.
Come on now, the Masonic black and white checkerboard floor-a known MK Ultra device, and the inclusion of the 'pedo-spiral' in the many symbols presented...God's children are waking up to the tyranny and your control will be conquered.

While likely not the intent, I believe this training serves only to sow division and encourages employees to view one another with suspicion. It conflictingly portrays 'unconscious bias' as both a natural part of the human condition, and also a workplace issue in need of redress. Furthermore, it offers no concrete solutions to anything; the advice given consists of vague and ongoing processes, but actually overcoming one's 'unconscious bias' is essentially assumed to be an unattainable goal. I do not see how this is helpful. If something is a natural and inevitable part of being human, then this type of training is unnecessary; and if something is an actual problem, then any training addressing it should be able to define what a victory over it would look like.
Please do not send me in the future such nonsense. We are adults and professionals here not children. Here at SPINIC we treat everybody with respect and consideration no matter who they are or what they do. Our management and HR are extraordinary in the best sense of the word "extraordinary". Our focus and goal are to do every day the best we can and to make sure our customer requirements are covered over and above 100%. This type of training is disruptive and is not adding any value at all to anything, from personal development to team interaction/development. Thank you for you understanding.
I have a hard time learning with someone just narrating a script. It was the same in school, the same my whole life.
The training sessions are not interesting, they are too long. It also did not indicate the benefits of unconscious bias and how it sometimes can be an useful tool. Most of the content was common sense, and it felt like a tick box exercise. There are more valued training sessions which could be offered, this was not one of them.
What a waste of time and effort. I'm never going to get that 45 minutes of my life back. This is by far the worst iHASCO course ever.
I don't think that this sort of training is appropriate as a mandatory part of staff training. We have legislation and codes of good working practice. I don't need to be told how to think and find this offensive on so many levels.
