Nothing new

I did not feel knew information was provided. It should be obvious to people that what they think about something or someone they don't know is from a past experience or story. There wasn't really any examples provided on how to move past. ACT - but what and how do you challenge? Should you put yourself in uncomfortable spots to learn a lesson, what questions do you or can you ask? How to train yourself? For example if I am in a dark alley, lights flickering and horror music playing i don't care what a person looks or sounds like i am still scared. It isn't always about the person, but the current situation that may also dictate thoughts and behaviors. I didnt see anything addressing things like this.

Not great if you’re deaf

If you are deaf and need to use subtitles you have to set them up on each new slide. The time it takes to do this means you miss the first line every time and have to go back and watch it from the start. There are no subtitles when in full screen mode and it is hard to drag slider without the screen moving about (which you need to do on every slide in order to return to the beginning). An example of stereotyping is based on hearing 3 voices and matching them to the person which is pointless if you can’t hear them. Sometimes the subtitles cover important info on the slides which again mean you need to watch the slide twice. The course took much longer than it should have because of all this repeat viewing.

generally good.

would have been good to vary the presenters. Good short sections. Slightly surprised at some of the examples that themselves perhaps display bias eg it the female in accounts that is not included in activity !!

OK but misses hybrid working

OK from when it was made, but it misses an opportunity to capture the effects, impacts and issues around remote and hybrid working. This is especially so in the context of PRI assessors where the comfortable chat may now no longer be in a company office, but across 3 or 4 nations and time zones with 3 or 4 national and company cultural variations {I've done a CEng MIMarEST PRI from UK, with a fellow assessor in Sri Lanka, a candidate in Azerbaijan, and an observer in Gibraltar!!!}. Also, I really do dislike pineapple on pizza unless its an addition to a Nutella one, but then my tastes and prejudices were confirmed by 3 years living and working 'vicino di Napoli' ... My now 25 & 23 year old children strongly agree with this point, too 😊

Generally good

I felt a small part of the info im asked to consume infringed on my personal beliefs . Although I applaude the intent of the course generally.

It was okay as an introduction

I thought the training was fine as an introduction but I didn't feel like any of the examples were especially enlightening and thought some of the strategies provided were a bit too general and vague to give me a good direction on how to attack reducing my unconscious bias.

A bit long, Makes one aware about biases

It makes you aware of how and why one may have biases.

It was ok

The definition of stereotyping on slide 19 is incorrect.

not easy for me

I have difficulty in remembering information. I have to make notes and review the slides numerous times. It takes me a few hours to complete these tasks.
