I think this course summarises the 'return to work worries' in a good, broad way, but there is room for improvement where specificities lie. The information is quite generic and could benefit from some more exaples of situations or acknowledgement of certain encounters in the office environment upon returning.
Basically good food for thought for office staff in certain roles. While it isn't inappropriate for staff who have been working at the office for a long time, it is clearly far less relevant... which becomes increasingly annoying as the course takes so long at such a slow pace. Also, it hasn't been updated to match the fact that restrictions are now basically removed. It doesn't seem a good match for those staff whose job realities don't match the very desk-based, managerial environment presented in all the imagery and so doesn't seem fully suitable to all roles at MOLA. A good point is that it does give things to think about for both returnees and for those who have been at a workplace for a long time but need to work with those newly returning.
Could have been more concise. I don't think all of the mental health element was necesary since a lot of this is already included in other courses. A lot of this is common sense.
I think I have probably already done a lot of this in a previous role and so found this very basic and generic. I find that this sort of training is better as a conversation between the person returning and their line manager so that it is more relevant.
its fine. really boring and not particularly insightful. its a hard subject- as there are so many different opinions about returning to work but there were a few premises / assertions I would question.
The course is good quality but they last WAY too long.
I did this (October 2021) the day before returning to the office for the first time since March 2020 when lock down began so it was timely. I found it useful and reassuring. The emphasis felt too strongly weighted on concerns about health (due to greater exposure potentially to risk of infection) and insufficiently focused on concerns arising from the impact of lock-down (eg getting used once again to working in a busy/noisy office environment in my case after being in a quiet home based workplace - I do understand that is not the case for many).
