This course was easy to follow and understand explaining how the back works however i do think it was a little to easy.
The first half about the spine and joints was interesting. However the information about how to lift and assess your route first etc. was really flogged to the point of patronising, and really made me want to turn it off! The course could have been done in half the time.
The video was a great idea. the context is vailed. the delivery is so painful and long. one short vidioe instead of numerous repetitive vidioes. all the key info would make a simple poster and I would have retained more info.
Lifting boxes is one thing, but that's not really what I have to do here
The theory part was OK, but the lady doing the examples was about as convincing as Gareth from 'The Office'.
the videos seem a bit overly lengthy and I feel like some of the information is repeated or obvious
Excessively lengthy for such a banal subject. Could have been covered in 5 min just as thoroughly.
I think it was good that I was educated on back structure and different muscles etc. but I think it could have been explained in simpler terms. The way the different techniques of lifting were explained could have been simpler and easier to understand.
This course does not meet the needs of staff supporting students with personal care. It does not cover equipment used
