It would be interesting to see an analysis of the reading age needed to access the test at the end of the course, also the language in the videos is hardly designed to be accessible. I fear that doing this course may impact negatively on some peoples' self esteem. Hardly inclusive. Hope help is being provided!
Very tedious and long winded, factually incorrect and as a result offensive to me in regards to gender recognition
I tried to complete the course in Welsh. however after getting to a certain point, and realising that the same word was used for both equality and equity, I had to restart the course in English. This is disappointing since Welsh is my preferred language. Additionally, offering subtitles is not an ideal alternative as a language choice.
I took this EDI course and was disappointed. The course was supposed to teach us about the importance of EDI in the workplace, but it was mostly just a lecture on the obvious. The lecturer didn't seem interested in engaging with me or challenging my thinking. The course was also very focused on British people, but I suppose this is fine being in the UK.

The training was very intense i.e very long, and could get quite boring, would of been better split into 2 parts.I found my mind drifting at times
I felt insulted at halfway point, then was disappointed not to learn much if anything from it. I was hoping to learn how to deal with situations and people better, but felt all a learned was how to segment and classify the various groups of society, which is exactly counter to the aim of the course.
The course was too long and I feel some people would lose interest and not absorb the information.
What a waste of my time
Expecting or forcing people to use preferred pronouns is compelled speech and isn't acceptable. While more people than would openly admit it find the whole issue to be nonsensical (outrage and cancel culture being rife right now) it may be worth mentioning it is much easier and likely more acceptable to remove pronouns in our speech for people with gender preferences and just use their names. (example Sally said instead of she said). People should not be facing legal or disciplinary action based on that and this course seeks to reinforce that position. The rest was fine, treating each other with respect and not being rude while preventing hate and discrimination against those with protected characteristics is just basic human decency.
