Inconsiderate of neurodiversity

I understand that for some, these simple steps can be useful. However, I use many of the methods discussed and I still struggle with time management. I believe I have ADHD and I found the training patronising as it told me what to do that I'm already doing. The training didn't consider how neurodiversity may impact time management skills, or how different abilities might impact how someone is able to carry out tasks. I didn't think it was very inclusive. I think there also needs to be a section that explains how people with neurodiversity, where we can find specific support for our needs, and to explain how people can work with neurodiverse colleagues.

irrelevant

DIDNT THINK THAT WAS RELEVANT MORE FOR A BIG CORPORATION, SO I FOUND IT LONG AND BORING, ALSO I THINK THAT ALOT OF THIS COMMON SENSE. NOT IMPRESSED

Perfect for 11 year olds

Having been a trainer who ran Time Management Courses, the content of this course is perfect for youngsters but could contain considerably more relevant information for adults in a professional environment.

Extremely Basic

This training session is severely lacking for such an important subject. Only covers a small handful of superficial points. Also outdated considering the growth of hybrid and remote working.

Feels patronising

Don't like online training especially when I have to watch videos and can't skip to the end. There is no recognition that we bring skills into the training and are just blank sheets waiting to be filled. There is an assumption that their way of teaching is the thing. I believe that training is about Practicing skills not being told what skills we should/could be using. This is didactic teaching not training. “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn."― Xun KuangI am also dyslexic, please don't see this as a leaning difficulty, and I have to have an overview before the specifics, and also have had to work hard at developing time management systems that work for me (which then go on to be used by others).

Not that inspiring

I find time management to be too subjective/personal to be able to quantify in a training course. Ultimately the message of the course was to stop procrastinating. Ironically, I struggled to manage my time and finish this course due to it's dull messaging.

Rather pointless

Didn't really learn much, but it was good to have confirmation that multi-tasking is a myth. If these courses weren't mandatory, I'd have stopped by now.

A bit basic

Whilst people in my team have asked for time management training, I'm not sure this course fits the bill. It is incredibly basic and I feel they'd actually see it as quite patronising.

Did not find useful as refresher...

...too much focus on procrastination. The most popular Eisenhenhower decision matrix was not included. The additional material provided with the course would be too complicated for a person who has never attended a time management course without guidance on how to use it.
