The course was very clear to follow, it was motivating to get some feedback during the sessions. The content was written and presented in a way that was easy to absorb. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 stars, is it would be good if you could choose the same course, but one that related specifically to Scotland, as there are different laws relating to safeguarding here, and although there were links to the different legislation in different countries, it would be easier if you could choose the branch of the course that related more to the country you were working in, so the legislation and policies naturally related to the location you were based. Overall though, it was excellent.
This course opened my eyes to a lot regarding children at school.
much more in depth information than with previous safeguarding training

Perhaps you could shorten it a bit

This course provided very comprehensive detail about safeguarding. I feel it will be valuable knowledge not only in my volunteering work, but in my personal and professional life. Having an increased level of awareness about safeguarding could be of benefit to the communities we live and work in, as long as those of us who undertake training fully understand the responsibility that comes with it. The reason I have not given the course five stars is: 1. It actually takes a lot longer to work through the content than the actual recordings if you wish to take notes - there's a lot of information to absorb! 2. If you go back to an area the course previously completed, it won't let you return to where you left off, so you need to go through all the sections again.
As stated in above section the course was informative and laid out the correct procedures when abuse is suspected
Covered all the different types of abuse, including physical, emotional, sexual and neglect. Also, included CSE and CCE and clearly demonstrated how some young people would be vulnerable to this type of abuse and the forms it could take. Other things covered include radicalisation, child abduction and faith abuse. It gave signs that might indicate that a child could be victim to any of the above. Clearly discussed how to report and record any possible disclosures or concerns.
This covered gave a good overview of the basics around recognising, responding to, recording and reporting different forms of child abuse and neglect. Some further detail around recording, particularly guidance on conversations with children would be helpful.
