Uninspiring

Just found this course did not hold my concentration, kept drifting off on a tangent

3/5
Information was clear but rather wordy

The information was clear and important but some of it was very wordy at times which makes it difficult to pull out the key information. It also made it difficult to concentrate. It would be helpful to have a written version to go alongside the video so that you can read instead of watching if you'd prefer to (I find it easier to retain information that I've read rather than heard).

have some question not coming right

the 4 r's recognising, responding, recording and reporting. in the test asking what coming next to the ' recognising and responding, I said recording and said its wrong, I repeat and come again the same.

Too Long

Far too long with far too many types of abuse when most of the signs are the same for all - and the response to all of them is to write a report and report to DSL.

3/5
Annoying level of interaction

I found it frustrating not to be able to read the material at my own speed. I found the short clips irritating- I understand it was meant to ensure you paid attention but I would rather have more genuine interaction eg questions and more autonomy about how to receive the information

Too detailed

Was quite a long course

A lot of these subjects in the safeguarding course were very difficult to listen to as a lot of these problems are cultural and would be difficult to challenge , as a person not from that culture.

A detailed and informative course.

I found this course to be really detailed and informative, and I came away having learnt a great deal about safeguarding children. I think that this course could be improved even further by adding a 'safeguarding vulnerable adults' section, as it is an equally important issue - particularly for those who will be working more with adults, rather than children.

I prefer face to face training.

Group interaction is my preference for learning, listening to people on a video is ok but not my preferred choice. The content was very detailed and useful though, thanks.
