Understand where you're coming from, but

There still appears to be a stigma in your actors tone/body language towards medicine to treat mental health problems. There also appears to be an underlying assumption that people will have the words to express how they are feeling (not always true). I think it's also important to remember that everyone will be approaching this from their own mental health place (including struggling/coping with it). Might be worth warning that it may be helpful, but also may be triggering. That said, I am pleased on the emphasis placed on listening in ways to help colleagues. I have heard a lot from my work about talking about mental health, but a lot less on listening to people when they are struggling (and potentially before they are struggling).

Lost interest when gender discussed

Lost interest very early on when discussing how difficult it is to talk about mental health issues and the sentence ended in "especially men". I would have felt the same if it had been "especially women" It was a really patronising comment.

good ideas, needs nuance, q's not useful

good content re: the seriousness, causes and possible solutions to low mental health.personally i think there should be more focus on self-compassion and forgiveness, as often (mental) health targets can appear like another burden, another item on a growing to-do list. so it could be good to emphasise that even if you set realistic goals and fail them (e.g. making a healthy lunch), it doesn't make you a failure. maybe this is something to talk about when 'positive thinking/framing' is discussed - that every step you take in the right direction is a good achievement, and you shouldnt be measuring yourself up against perfect standards of someone who has every aspect of their life sorted.and yeah the questions were not thought provoking at all and barely tested retention of the material

fine for most people

Does the job for the majority of people but is not very useful if you experience any of the illnesses. It would be good to see the sources for some of the claims (i.e. foods that help fight diseases)

Fair basic overview

I feel like this was okay for explaining mental health and identifying symptoms to people who haven't experienced any serious issues, and I think it did well at getting across the need to care of your body and mind. It would perhaps have been useful to have more on how it relates to events in the workplace, e.g. anxiety can show itself as avoiding work social events or not speaking up in meetings, depression can show itself as standards slipping, becoming more confrontational, emotional outbursts etc. And I don't think it was clear that people are protected from mental health discrimination by law (so they don't feel like if they tell their boss they will be sacked).

No examples of issues in the work place.

I felt the training pointed out a lot of things that are needed to be known, and were good reminders. But i thought it lacked examples of how peoples behaviour in a work place can affect others and their mental health. Whilst trivial things can annoy some people, i think at a wrong time they can affect peoples mood even more. I think the training should of covered how employees and employers have a responsibilty to be respectful to others as you never know how a badly timed actions (for example rudeness, disrespect) might affect someone.

Interesting, informative.

Would have been better to be in person for this kind of subject. It did provide links to give good information which was useful and they were interesting.
