The continued reference to footing the ladder is wrong. The HSE guidance states that this should only be done as a last resort as it is largely ineffective, can give operatives a false sense of security and adds the hazard of dropped objects on the person doing the footing
not really necessary for my job
Some slides were skipped through too quickly compared to others and the section on the actual use of ladders was too short / quick and this was the most relevant part to me.
few things were interesting but common sense.
good course but not massively relevant to the ladders that we use I feel like there could be a much better suited training course than this for our warehouse
The lady demonstrator in the film is footing the ladder incorrectly
Needs to have all the esprit videos all in one long video
.......
But I worked through it step by step.
The training module only covers the basic ladders. It does not cover outline detail from EN131 around stabilisation (ratio of height to width?), the use of available accessories.
