Course was OK but to many stops and starts. The video could have been a single short length film without all the slide breaks. Content was informative and a timely reminder.
Little bit long winded. But I suppose it's for safety.
ok
Course talks about a lot of things that are not relevant to my job at the Pickering Station Shop. I will not be using any extending ladders.
Turned down volume
course covered everything, however it would be useful to have written summaries and a takeout/pdf to refer to later, as it may be a while before i need to use this training!
was to long process which could have been made easier if was done in one video
While some of the course was what I would call common sense there were parts which it is easy to overlook. What is important to me is I now know what to look for on a ladder before I even contemplate using it.
The continued reference to footing the ladder is wrong. The HSE guidance states that this should only be done as a last resort as it is largely ineffective, can give operatives a false sense of security and adds the hazard of dropped objects on the person doing the footing
