i was unable to ask any questions about the course as it was a computer based course and thus theres a gap in my full understanding of the subject, this isnt the courses fault, its a problem for my training department
The course was very detailed and took a lot longer than time suggested. I felt the questions could have been more complex given the importance of good safety. They didn’t reflect the depth and scope of the course
It would be helpful to have our training Social Care specific . I found this training informative in some ways, but it does not include those of us who work in supported living workplaces or indeed any social care setting.
It seemed like hours. So by the time it was the test, I felt I my brain had gone to sleep. So it's not 100% as I expect it to be. Sorry.
To many videos saying basically the same thing. Not suitable for a school environment, only suitable for actual businesses. A lot I didn't need to know.
The last 8 slides were the most relevant as this course basically repeated level 1 up until this point. Very frustrating!
For the amount of video you have to watch the test seems too simple and short!
Fairly basic course, hand washing, food temps, personal & kitchen hygiene etc. Probably good if working in a commercial kitchen as hazard analysis covered but not for me as a carer in a private residence although some parts of course relevant.
The course taught the content in manageable sections and kept the structure interactive by short questionnaires throughout. The interaction is kept to a minimum, which doesn't disturb the flow of the teaching and is thus a positive aspect of the experience. However, the videos are sometimes a bit wordy, making the course a lengthy and mundane task to complete.
