Veers from obvious to too much detail

The course is sometimes v boring because the info is obvious it speaks down to the participant. Then it goes into physics and how fires are transmitted - as a physicist I am fine but most people do not need to know (or be tested on) the differences between conduction, convention and radiation - it wont help keep them safer. And the stuff about fire extinguishers is too detailed - too nerdy - it would make me never want to use one tbh. I think course really could use a long hard look at what people really need to know & what people are likely to remember in panic (it wont be 'what colour is the label on an extinguisher' ).

2/5
Incorrect information

Some of the information was wrong and misleading.

2/5
To long

Unable to skip past the topics I already know

2/5
Thorough but just too long

The length and time required is too big a deterrent for busy people. Also much of it should be already known by any educated adult. It would be better to start with the quiz, and then customize the course based on incorrect answers so that people can then learn the things they didn't know.

Slow.

Slow and patronizing

Marginally useful.

This video is for a workplace paid position, most of which is completely inappropriate for a prospective volunteer of retirement age such as myself, who is aiming to help adults to read on a one-to-one basis. Also, I'm distinctly unimpressed with the grammatical errors, i.e. split infinitives, lack of commas, and comma where there should be a full stop(!), making the questions difficult to comprehend. If I wasn't so passionate about adult literacy, I would not have completed all this.

Padded out to fill time

This could have been done in 5 minutes.

2/5
Too long

I find videos an unhelpful and inaccessible way to access information. It could have been presented in a few paragraphs of text which I would have found much easier (and quicker!) to process. I have also just had to cover all this precise information on a half day St Johns Ambulance course, so the doubling up of training seems like a waste of everybody's time. Maybe if I had been made to do this training as a reminder several months/a year after the SJA training it would seem less pointless, but as it's been a couple of weeks since I did it, there was v little point.

2/5
Tick box exercise

Any "Training" where you can just click through to the end and answer the questions is not good. If you don't pass then you just get asked exactly the same questions again. A tick box exercise only.

2/5
repetitive

training too frequent.... always same content, always same questions
