Tedious, slow & patronising.

Tedious to the point of frustration, the better part of an hour requiring interaction every minute to receive a course that would have been better delivered in 15-20 minutes. After the first 10 minutes my attention and patience was exhausted by the lack of pace, long winded delivery of the most basic information and constant clicking to continue.

Watched three years

Watched three times with this company, 15 years before with IBM, I see nothing new. I am a van driver, I do NOT enter offices and garages, just update me with new things

1/5
dull and repetitive

There is no change from any prior year, so there should be an option to sit the assessment straight away, and only me made to watch a video if there's new items or you don't pas the test.

Superfluous Questions

Unnecessary questions relating to information that I won't need, such as what colour is the label on an extinguisher. If this information is not visible on the extinguisher at the time it should not be in use.

Excessive. Not engaging

The delivery was over the top, too lengthy, unskippable and the speed could not be adjusted. I was not engaged at all, only irritated by the time wasted. I had it open in another window, turned of the volume and clicked the button for the next section when I remembered

less than relevant to our position

As fire Marshalls we are expected to act contrary to this course.. we are expected to go INTO a building with a possible fire , use more than 1 extinguisher, i have attended incidents where up to 8 have been used and it is expected for us to tackle these incidents and fire service called as a LAST RESORT. We have even been told we cannot call a fire a fire but a "thermal incident".. ..this course is not relevant to our current positions.
