Global warming remains unproven 'theory'

Hello,In general; this course surly contains most valuable guidance and subject matter. One would hope that most humans would agree with the need to take good/better care of our finite living environment resources and life support systems. That said, contrary to some heavily disseminated propaganda; the 'theory' of 'global warming' remains (at the time of writing anyway) just that, a 'scientifically unproven 'theory'!As a once University lecturer; I must express the importance for training programs such as this to adhere only to factual content or at minimum, to ensure the student is made aware that some course content contains a degree of non factual theoretical opinion.Regards, Brian Pearson B.Sc.(hons)P.S. Recent climate data analytics appear to indicate that a we are now experiencing a global cooling period and some experts 'theorists' are even predicting a looming mini ice age.P.P.S. Please do note though that I did state 'theorists'.

Poor

Please see Wikipedia to understand what the "butterfly effect" is most commonly understood as. Your use of the term is misguided. It is NOT that lots of small changes become an overall large change. 4 hours of a 3W lightbulb? 4 hours of a 150W lightbulb. A nonsense statement!

Far too long

Whilst it was acknowledged that the course would contain information many would know, the basic information given across at times was insulting. Whilst there was some good information within this, I fear many will be turned off by the way common sense and everyday knowledge was dressed up as information. The module suggested time is 48 mins and it suggests the environmental impact that the projected 100,000 users could make. I would suggest the course could be shortened by 30 minutes thus saving 50,000 manhours.

Very basic

I think for RWM staff a more comprehensive training (if any) is needed - apart from a few "soundbite facts" I don't think many staff would learn anything new from this.

Very basic

The content was very basic and the delivery style patronising.

Too long

Far too long with many duplicate points within the slides.

confusing in places

I really enjoyed several of these courses but this one was particularly confusing - the 'Butterfly Effect' is mentioned throughout, interchanged with 'Ripple Effect' and various other terms but never really explained properly. I'm not sure all these terms mean the same thing... Indeed, in the test, the user is asked to tick the best explanation of the butterfly effect, which turns out to be a likening of the impacts of small actions to "a butterflies wings" - this still doesn't explain the concept properly. I see that the lesson is that small actions can lead to larger consequences - it could be made much clearer.
