The video presentation kept stopping and starting and in some cases didn't finish

A good quality video with clear, concise information. The only problem is that 95% of the material presented.seems to be directed at complete idiots. I''m aware that the content may not be your responsibility, but much of it is so obvious that it's likely to have the effect of participants losing interest long before they get onto the really juicy stuff such as ladder angles. 4/5 for the video, 1/5 for the contents.

Some of the points you make are so basic that they could be found insulting to some people. I'm sure an adult doesn't need to be told that when going from an indoor to outdoor area the sun light can affect their perception! I understand the need to be comprehensive but some of the comments were unecessary.

mundane, waffle

Does not grip me or interact with me. I want to feel engaged during the process not just with a test at the end.

Stating the bleedin obvious

After working in offices for 30+ years all of this has already been drummed into me. Plus I lik eto think I've got a bit of common sense!

All these training session are really important. However, the sequential and spoken style of training dictates the pace of the training and that creates a one-size fits all approach that is probably fine for people with minimal intelligence. However, for many, too much time is spent on the common sense elements making it more likely for the really important elements that are not common sense to become disguised and perhaps missed. The training is otherwise really clear and very well presented. My suggestion is for you to offer a test at the start, then offer tailored training based on the test results, and then test again. That would offer much more effective and mutually-respectful sessions that would certainly result in a better understanding of the key issues and therefore a reduction in injuries and losses.
