The course set out clearly what its objectives were and achieved them using simple language and practical scenarios which helped the learner understand the issues and the recommended procedures to follow. The speakers and graphics made it user-friendly and together with the additional videos and documents, it provided a good variety of materials to help everyone learn.

As a retired and highly experienced police detective specialising in sexual offences and family protection, I was sceptical at first - especially given the shambolic manner in which this employer recently dealt with a complaint of SH. The course, however, was very good, I thought, exactly what all staff in this organisation require, to begin to get an understanding of the real and modern world. Hopefully they will also sign up to Equality and Diversity training!!
