Patronising

Came across as rather patronising to anyone with an ounce of good sense and will not go down well with faculty. It's too general to be useful too - your organisation might do x, y, z.

Very patronising

Sorry, but I found this course to be very patronising, treating me like an idiot. I could have answered all the questions at the end without having to watch any of the videos. The content told me very little about COVID-safe principles and procedures. Telling me to "get my clothes and food ready the night before work, setting an alarm, and have a to-do list for tomorrow's tasks"... come on, really?! Would give it zero stars if I could.

Tedious and unenlightening

There is little in the course that is not self-evident or couldn't be captured in a bullet-point list or 2 minute video. It's certainly a glossy production, but it wasted my time and, if anything, increased my levels of frustration about returning to work. The generic nature of the content will be seen by many as reflecting a lack of respect for employees in very different organisations and roles.

Pointless

This is the second course I've been obliged to take and frankly found both of them a complete waste of time. Both were just frustatingly obvious common sense to sit through, and added nothing to my ability to do my work or improve my working environment for myself, colleagues or students. Sorry, but I find these patronising and pointless.

Like being talked at by a highschool tea

This course does not take into consideration learning styles, the speaker talks very slowly so it is unengaging, having him stood against a white background it unengaging, popping up small clips of video of action is not demonstrative. I could have filled in the test without watching any of the videos.

Felt utterly patronised.

So generic/basic as to talk only to common sense. Felt infuriated by the tone of delivery. Disengaged by the content. However, I would note that I am autistic and my reaction to this course may be a function of my autism and the fact that I have my own ways of coping with things.

Generic, empty, in parts condescending

This has been such a waste of time. There’s nothing specific about any return, measures or procedures. It constantly refers to ‘specific’ measures, processes etc that may be in place with ‘your employer’ but that’s it. No specifics, no specific links. It’s just empty waffle about that there might be something, who knows. Considering how much money this course probably costs to role out to all staff and how much money it costs in staff time, this is frankly a huge waste. A simple but specific document, or even a video, with concrete and specific measures, processes and employer-specific approaches would be much more useful. The upbeat-ness about 'normal anxieties' when physically returning to work during a pandemic is at minimum condescending. The unironic reference to government measures, which incidentally and unnecessarily killed tens of thousands of people, is insulting.
