Great simple to follow

It is very easy to follow training which is very clear. Just feel the bit about eating healthily is a common knowledge and could trigger someone with an eating disorder. Apart from that all good.

Generally a good overview/reminder.

Lacking

Maybe some interviews with people who have suffered and overcome mental health issues would be beneficial.

4/5
Good overview of techniques

Good overview of techniques. A couple of minor criticisms of terminology used - under Self Harm there was a reference to most people "growing out" of self harming at ages 16-17 which seems a little demeaning to older people who may still suffer with these issues.

4/5
Good on basics but limited

I am not sure that this is the right format for Mental health training to take. Very much a tick box exercise in covering basics and there was little, if anything, here that I was not already conscious of. However it covered a broad range of topics well within the limitations of an online non-interactive copurse and the questions were enough to give pause for contemplation, so I suppose it does what it says on the tin!

4/5
Good introduction to mental health

Good introduction to mental health and covers the basics in a simple and easy to understand way. It would be well suited for individuals who have little to no knowledge of mental health, and solidifies what is already known for those with prior knowledge.

4/5
Makes you keep an open mind

Make you think about how you should approach work and to spot the signs of mental health issues

4/5
Content was OK, test was flawed

The content could be better if the presenters weren't always against stark white backgrounds. This does not make them authoritative, approachable or reassuring of whatever impact you were aiming for, it made them annoying to focus on. The Test was OK except for the pathetic double negative questions - the questions should test understanding of the content, not reading, re-reading and double checking questions intentionally designed to catch out - that tests nothing.

Covered essential areas of mental health

Concise and clear, not patronising. Would support those who know little about mental health.
