Really patronising and not useful

I am finding the Mental Health Awareness for Management learning a bad experience. It is very long patronizing lecture and full of instructions - full of just do this , just do that, all you need to do, "you need only do 30 minutes exercise every day"...achieve goals by writing a to-do list.... Many completely unrealistic without significant support. The management part was tacked on the end and literally could be summarised in about 3 bullet points. The training gave me no more tools than I already had. It also offered no simple or complex worked examples where the decision making for supporting mental health for managers is complex.

Very surface level, nothing insightful.

The information seemed superficial and resulted into the 'think happy thoughts, eat well and exercise' archaic philosophy in dealing with metal health issues. As someone who has suffered with various mental health issues this is very condescending, its close to advising someone to 'cheer up as its all in your head'. When somebody is having a mental health episode finding a will or motivation to do any of these things can seem impossible and the despair this can generate only compounds negative thoughts and emotions. We know what we should do, but the ability to will that knowing into doing is the real hurdle to tackle and this package did nothing to address this.

long and patronising

This "sheep dip" content is too long, patronising and the test to validate retention and understanding of the content does neither

Very bad course with poor experience

Terrible actors and having each and every bit in a 40 second video you have to keep on clicking actually made my own mental health take a dip throughout the course. It's tedious and has the opposite effect where you just want to get it over with, thus not absorbing the information.PLEASE STOP BUYING THESE PREMADE COURSES WITH 50+ SHORT VIDEOS

Poorly designed

This training is far too long, an issue magnified by its breakdown into small chunks. The system does not remember preferences (i.e. closed caption settings) and is therefore a frustrating, repetitive experience.

Repeats M H Aware Training in Education

I was disappointed that this course resembles so closely the Mental Health Awareness in Education course that I took a few days ago, with just a few slides added for managers. The test was almost identical. As there is no way to skip slides, I felt I had wasted most of the time it took.

Too long and dull

Too long, very dull, and the session kept crashing every time I tried to take it.
