Repeated and not sure why? Handy tips for home. hence the 1
A complete waste of time - nothing to learn and many incorrect statements/activities portrayed in the "training" videos

rubbish
This course taught me nothing new. It was almost identical to the previous manual handling training videos we received. It was also confusing that each different training provider's set of videos that we receive gives different advice about how much we can lift e.g. this course advised in the "power zone" area for about 16kg max (with a disclaimer that it varies for everyone) with this reducing above shoulder height to 7kg. The last video from BEAR advised 20 kg and 9kg (as I recall) for the same zones with the same disclaimer of course. This video was also much less clear about ensuring a stable base for lifting. Something that was very good about the previous video which really focussed on "lifting inside your base".

Not designed by educators worth their salt, it was bad enough when it was a box-ticking exercise that didn't reflect the practicalities of real world movement, they've now decided to extend the anatomy and physiology component to drag out the experience even further. The test is a pointless 'recall' exercise that proves nothing. Lazy, lazy course that gives health and safety a bad name. 1 start for the effort put into production values of the footage, if not the design or script content.
Think this should be done in work time not my family time
