Enjoyed doing the course and I learned a lot.
Very good in that it was well presented and very comprehensive, but rather a lot of information to take in all at once. I suspect if I was asked about it in a week's time that I wouldn't have retained very much of it. Is there some sort of literature that can be kept on site as a reference?
Couldn't use sound, so difficult to navigate site. Thorough, not an easy subject when it comes to "direct, indirect, perceptive etc"
Hard to remember it all
Very informative and thorough, thank you
E and D is a very sensitive and complex topic, and to be effective I think it requires some face-to-face discussion that encourages participants to really reflect on their own prejudices and stereotypes and think about how they and their organisation may (inadvertently) discriminate against or exclude certain individuals or groups of individuals. Good E&D training will most likely make its participants feel uncomfortable at times and force them to ask themselves some challenging questions. Whilst this was a good intro to facts and definitions I don't think it will do much to address discrimination or prejudice in the workplace or help people genuinely reflect on their actions, beliefs etc. The visual examples were good but focused mainly on the more 'comfortable' areas of discrimination such as on grounds of gender/age and not enough on the stuff that I think people find more challenging - religion, race, sexuality. Personally I think this can only be achieved with interactive training delivered over several sessions.
User friendly training which covered the topic areas really well.
Presenter was very clear and the whole presentation came across very well. There were definitely areas covered that I did not know about
