Lots of information

The course was very interesting but there was a very large amount of information to digest.

4/5
Well designed and structured course.

The course covers a variety of Workplace issues but it is presented in a concise manner. It is straight forward and easy to follow. The delivery was clear and effective. The questions are such that one has to think carefully before answering. In other words, the questions challenge you. You realy have to listen to the presentation carefully for you to do well. Excellent is the word to describe the training.

Good and liked the visual elements

There was one section about employers asking for recent graduates as an age discrimination example but the term graduate doesn’t indicate an age? A recent graduate can be any age…

Informative, challenging and surprising

Sensitively navigated through what is a 'minefield' and one that changes very regularly. My belief is that genuine equality, diversity and inclusion come naturally to a caring mind. Those that do not embrace change, are often challenged that they have failed, which I disagree with. One might also suggest that active anti-racist behaviour is genuine positive discrimination too, but that is normally avoided as too 'risky' and fuelled by an unhealthy paranoia that we might say the wrong thing. I would suggest I spend a healthy amount of time ensuring I embrace everything on this course and in honesty balancing that with understanding that positive discrimination can be just as damaging.

Worthwhile training

Some parts were a little repetitive, but the short and easy to follow videos made the training much more enjoyable and manageable.

always room to improve

enjoyed the course , we could have had a diverse group of presenters instead of 2. each could have represented the different groups we talked about. do think these sort of courses should be done in groups so we can share our experiences and learn more from those in similar positions/situations.
