It is always good to remind yourself of the importance of ensuring that you are working in the right environment that allows productivity and comfort.
A good combination of visual instructions and verbal, with knowledge checks throughout the course before the actual knowledge test at the end.... could probably add more self test questions throughout the learning, and maybe some of the questions in the test could be re-worded to make the trainee re-read the question a couple of times before answering. Alternatively, maybe add some real life scenarios, and ask for the key elements relating to H&S to be highlighted.
I have re arranged my work station and will try to remember to take breaks.
