Pointless, makes unnecessary assumptions

Makes some very negative assumptions and generalisations about the way we think and react to imagery and situations. Did not find any of this helpful.or useful

too boring,

Not sure if a online course could be more difficult to focus on. Needed to be shorter. The importance of the the subject has been nullified by the dry delivery.

Soul destroying

Very, very clunky and old school but not in a good way.

pointless, innefective

The 20 question test at the end was laughably easy, there was no need to watch any of the videos to answer the questions except for the acronym ACT, which makes little sense. I would also point out that unconscious bias training is ineffectual (https://scholar.harvard.edu/files/dobbin/files/an2018.pdf) and can actually worsen biases.

uninformative

I feel as if you were being unconsciously bias towards the learner, making assumptions about their biases and indeed offering biases that may not have even occurred to the learner in the first place . Very disappointing.

Useless and patronising

This is an extremely patronising training, the woman presenting is very patronising and the language they use is very childish. As someone who is actively already challenging negative biases and embraces diversity it felt like it didn't give anything new and is more for someone totally unaware of biases, and who has a lot of them. It gave you no strategies to actually reduce bias and was extremely generic. Great training for employers who are looking to do a tick box exercise to say their team have been trained on 'unconscious bias'. Completely useless if you actually want a training that will lead to change in your workplace and amongst your team members. Do not waste your time.

do not agree

If it is unconscious bias how can you retrain that? Its like trying to learn not to breath, its instinct. A person should be judged by the content of their character. A man who judges someone by the colour of their of their skin doesn't deserve to called one.

Infantile

Is this a joke , you talk about conformity bias and then want everyone to conform to your way of thinking , what I think is irrelevant unless it manifests itself in behaviour and that is the only way to measure bias as meta-analysis has shown the IAT test to be a weak predictor of behaviour . All my bias are ideological against anyone who tells me how to think and Mahzarin Banaji has said bias training should not be mandatory
