I could have passed the test without doing the course. Why not have a test at the start so that people who have done this kind of training a thousand times before don't have to sit around being taught how to suck eggs?

The video shows people climbing the ladder with their hands on the outside of the ladder. This is very poor and potentially dangerous if there is a slip. Hands should be inside the ladder, actually on the rungs so there is something tangible to hold onto in the event of a slip. This is standard training for British Telecom, Fire Brigade, electricians and all professional bodies.
