From next year NQTs no longer have one year. The early career framework (ECF) reforms apply for early career teachers, providing entitlement to a structured 2-year package of professional development.

Excellent course but included EU citizens as not needing a work permit without mentioning whether this would change once Brexit was fully in place or if this was the case despite Brexit. I would have liked clarification and will need to resort to the government website.
The course was again good however having the questions at the end of all the videos can make it hard to recall the information just learned. Maybe have smaller questions at the end of each unit to recall what had just be learned might make answering the questions a little easier.

This was clear with good diagrams and descriptions, logically presented and easy to follow. 2 bad test questions: One talking of a guarantee to make children safe...there are NO GUARANTEES and the other talked of all staff needing DBS but part time, temp, not dealing with children, always supervised would not need a DBS in practice or was this just badly worded.
A comprehensive but well designed training. All salient and relevant areas covered with focus and clarity.
this course was particularly helpful in helping me understand the importance of good induction.
Verbal clarity excellent and easy to follow but just a little of the summarising required revisiting to get full clarification, and hence this followed through to one or two of the questions in the test. Even so, I was happy overall with the presentation and content throughout.
It covers everything clearly but just wish you could skip elements you know really well in order to take the test sooner. It’s frustrating to have to sit through the whole thing!
