Moving and Handling People Training Reviews

Unfortunately this course was not very practical and mostly felt like a waste of time. It didn't teach me anything particularly new about how to move people, while at the same time not giving me any opportunity to practice actually moving anyone. The test was ridiculously simple and could have easily been completed without watching any of the videos. In general I find these online courses a bit pointless.

I do not feel that an online training course is an appropriate way of demonstrating correct and safe practices when manual handling and using specialised equipment. This can only effectively be taught using practical demonstration where techniques are taught and practiced using the actual equipment required and employing the techniques shown.

The visual was frequently out of sync with the audio and the programme does not respond when you want to hurry it along.
