A few methods of moving appear to be out of date ? Or I’ve been trained differently in the past
NOT DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE SO A LITTLE MORE GUIDANCE WOULD BE USEFUL
This was delivered really well. As a general course it was informative, although I think it would be better if some aspects were delivered on an 'as and when required' basis for individuals who need the specific support. It is always useful to have an general overview however.
A little long winded but to be fair full of important information, and presented in easy to follow segments

Needs to also give direction to staff who may also have joint issues some alternative movements to try as these prompts will work only with compliant and able patients.
Well structured and delivery in a manner easy to understand. Covered all aspects related to the topic.
Interesting and informative for overall guidance - would help support someone with basic knowledge but a face to face training with practical elements would be needed for people who use in their job
As a member of staff who uses very few basic moving & handling manoeuvres I did find all the many techniques shown to be rather overwhelming.I do wonder whether it's possible to split this package into a Basic and Advanced Level? The Training Presentation itself was excellent!
