As a volunteer Communication Supporter, I have absolutely NO contact with people who need lifts or moving in and out of bed. The section on the human back is a repeat of information I have already been tested on in 'Manual handling' and, therefore, a complete waste of my time. Apart from some advice on helping people in and out of sitting positions, this course is utterly irrelevant to me in my role in CHSS.
Moving and easy is very good on paper (or computer) but it's not like that with real people.

Looks easy with cartoon people but is nowhere near that easy in 'real life', just glad this was not my only training for moving and handling.
I felt that most of this content wouldn't be relevant to my role.
Having used a hoist myself there is no way that this course will enable you to use one without on the spot training. So you could argue that a lot of this training is not appropriate.

Very concerned that one of the moving and handling manoeuvres shown on the video is illegal. The one which is a bear lift. Used to transfer from bed to chair or chair to chair by one carer.
I love the explanations and discussions about each topic but they needs actual video not only pictures the whole training
48 videos? Each time I had to click on 'next' to select the video, and then click on the start button on the far corner to play it .... only to have to do it again 30 seconds later! I found the whole course tedious, not least because the majority of it was irrelevant to my job role (not your fault), but even had it been relevant I would still have struggled to keep my attention level up. At one stage it reminded me of the Month Python Fruit Self Defence sketch - look it up on YouTube if you are not familiar with it. I am sure you worked well within your brief and the course did come across as professional and well made, but it really was hard going!
