Patronising

As a person who has had a lot of CBT and other talk therapies, I felt the course was a little patronising and simplified. I understand that a course like this can not be all encompassing but I particularly didn't like the childish language; "belly breathing" and "belly button." The breathing technique is called "breathing from your diaphragm" and the "belly button" is called a "navel." I am not six and I don't need to be talked to like I am. When I had to make choices for the managing techniques section, none of the examples were relevant and I had to choose situations that were of no use, or relevance, to me at all. I have never wished to jump out of a plane, but it was the only one that I could tick realistically. Mind you the graphics were really good.

Very informative and helpful

I enjoyed this course as it gave lots of information on how to deal with and manage stress more effectively. It was very interesting and something that I will definitely use in the future. It was interesting to see how people have different coping mechanisms to deal with the same situation and it was also interesting to see how you can cope using CBT to deal with anxieties.

Incredibly insightful and helpful

Knowing how much ache and tension anxiety can bring to someone physically and mentally, I am thankful that a course like this one has been created. It will help a lot of people in the workplace and I can whole-heartedly recommend it.

Decent introductory course

I really like the iHasco training courses. The people are easy to listen to, and particularly on this course I enjoyed the diagrams. Thumbs up!

straight forward and clearly presented

excellent course for deaf people. presenter is very clearly spoken and the subtitles mean I can do this course without stress of lipreading. only improvement would be to have an option to keep subtitiles on all the time instead of manually switching on for each session.

The course was helpful and informative

Hopefully I can take some good techniques from the course and it’s scenarios whenever I’m feeling anxious.

Covered a good range of techniques

I liked how it covered what anxiety is, why it happens and how it affects people differently. I was surprised with the number of solutions it went through and how simple some of them were, without coming across like it isn't a serious issue and easy to fix. Overall very good.
