More office based

Need s to focus more on site workers

2/5
There are glaring errors in the course

More vehicles are involved in road traffic incidents than in car attacks, so locking yourself in a car is not good advise. Similarly, shouting fire to attract attention, when there isn't a fire, could cause unnecessary building evacuations, with all the risks that they entail, unnecessary summoning of the fire service, and bring fire procedures into disrepute.

2/5
Not very relevant to working from home

The course is very much common sense and not very relevant to a working from home role.

2/5
Too much detail

Far too much detail on matters that should not fall under a work place safety course. For example, checking a vehicle is safe for a long journey, reminding workers to 'charge their phones', how one should walk along a road, plan their journeys, and sit on public transport. These are all examples of uneccesary detail on matters that do not need to be emphasised on this course.

2/5
We face completely different issues

The lone worker issues we face are: working with power tools; working with lifting equipment and raised heavy objects; lone office working (trips and falls, heart attacks); travel in foreign countries; fatigue and mental health issues from overworking, etc.

2/5
Not relevant to work on nymr

Although good on one level most of the course was irrelevant to shop assistants on nymr. It was mainly geared towards workers in the community I.e social workers etc. as such it was overlong and very time-consuming. A more targeted approach to the shop assistant role on the railway would be more beneficial.

Far too wordy

Whilst informative, only 10% of this is relevant.

2/5
Too much focus on using common sense

Found this course covered many things that are common sense, I know it mentioned that but still it goes into too much detail so its difficult to focus to pick up things that are useful to learn

2/5
pointless

found myself wondering whether I was watching the wrong course video. Pointless exercise
