Good structured awareness session

Good awareness and facts

The course is good but does not cover veganism in any depth, the single most effective way to reduce greenhouse gasses and deforestation is veganism, for example over 100,000 sea animals are killed with "ghost gear" a year, and not using plastic straws is barely going to scratch the surface. The amount of water used in beef production is 15415 litres per KG, a shower uses approx 90.. so 2kg of beef in comparison to a years worth of 10 minute showers. points hopefully made... i'm trying to get less meat consumed in the workplace

Succint clear and well broken up

I did wonder whther encouraging people to print off their certificates and potentially win an amazon voucher both bucked against the message of reducing paper / cardboard use. I think a better incentive would be a voucher for the WWF shop or something similar or donation to a environmental charity. Not to take away from the course and intention at all - its good and really gets homw the message that it is individual action that will create the global actions that will result in positive changes

Ok course

There was a lot of content to digest in a short space of time

A bit samey

You do say that it is a bit of a repeat - and so it is. The presentation is really fine but maybe a bit wordy? The butterfly effect reference will probably be a bit oblique for may to grasp. An ironic comment from me is that we are invited to print the certificate - very naughty - own goal!! :p

Good course but maybe too many stats

annoying

a good course, but trying to enforce on me the need to not eat meat or dairy is not your choice to make and even mentioning it I find offensive

4/5
Informative session

This course provided a lot of effectively simple ways, methods and practices that an individual can really play his/her part in positively impacting the environment.

focus seemed to be on personal efforts

Would suggest more focus on the workplace and what the corporate responsibilities are and what we can do to influence company performance. We have many chemicals on site. We use a lot of energy. There should be company initiatives ie insulation & lighting etc roof panels for generation
