Fire Safety Order (2005)
The Fire Safety Order means that any person with some level of control in premises must take reasonable steps to reduce the risk of a fire. Fire Awareness Training is a legal requirement for all staff. If you don’t meet these legal obligations, you can go to prison and face an unlimited fine.
The Health & Safety First Aid Regulations 1981
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.
The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992
As an employer, you must protect your workers from the health risks of working with display screen equipment (DSE), such as PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations apply to workers who use DSE daily, for an hour or more at a time.
