Big challenge

Big Test for my knowledge !!!!

5/5
I did not like the use of trick question

On two occasions during this course the presenter explained that they has posed trick questions. One in regard to GDPR and EU and the other in relation to holding data. This along with some pretty poor jokes (which never work on line and in a recording) served to reduce my trust in the process and diminish my desire to learn. the second half became a hard slog and i was on edge to make sure there was not another trick question on the way. GDPR is complex and a major concern for many and the last thing a trainee wants is to feel insecure.

Hard work

Not an exciting topic, but difficult to follow and quite confusing

5/5
include assessment throughout course

I think this course would benefit from mini tests at the end of each section to check understanding in addition to the final test at the end - all I kept thinking as I went through this is that I'm never going to remember all of this!

3/5
worthwhile training

This training is so important for those of us who handle and process other peoples data, ensuring we follow the correct procedures to keep data safe and secure.

5/5
Good but heavy information

This is a good course with lots of information and additional resources, a lot to take in but essential none the less, breaking down the principles of GDPR, data subject rights, giving scenarios and instances to relate to, it is also clear in delivery.

5/5
Intense

Requires a lot of concentration. Played course content twice before feeling confident to do the test.

5/5
it is too long

It is too long and it could be done with 2 tests of 10 questions, 1 half way through, instead of 20 questions at the end.

3/5
A good basic introduction but one issue

While said in jest in the training pack, I am not sure that introduction of the Regulator (in this case the ICO) as someone who is out to make your life difficult is especially helpful (even if said jokingly and later corrected). We should be supporting the work of the Regulator and the principles of GDPR, not dissing them.
