Not an exciting topic, but difficult to follow and quite confusing
A bit too indepth and long course when a lot of it is common sense regarding data. The course is more suited to people who work in data processing/analysing/controlling positions etc.
Videos went on too long. Not enough interaction, i.e. mini tests throughout
Difficult to remain focused for that length of time, did not want to break up training as concerned I would not remember the content for the test at the end. More interactive questions /quiz throughout would help keep interest
For someone who works in this area, then its probably the right course. However for some of us, the course was far too detailed and complex. A shorter more, accessible course for some, would be more useful and productive. For example, too the point!
No thanks
Found most subjects described all had trick answers throughout. I don't feel that I have learnt much from this course considering it was quite a long one.
This training needed to be shortened considerably and more examples of real life situations should have been included to make it less intense/heavily fact based, more interesting, easier to understand and easier to remember. During the test, those answers that were marked incorrect did not give the correct answer afterwards (this would have been helpful for future knowledge). Also, one question was about 'Data Protection by Design' and was extremely difficult to answer since it did NOT form part of the MAIN training (i.e. we were referred to 'additional resources' which I took to be optional and so I did not do this as part of the training). I thought that this was therefore an unfair question for those people who did not explore the additional resources.
This course is way too long. Watching a video for over an hour is mind numbing, especially when people have difficulty retaining information or have learning difficulties, it isn't designed well at all. You just lose concentration and disinteresting. Then try and answer all the questions correctly at the end of it . It would far better to have smaller tests after each section.
There were some areas where I switched off as the information was not relevant to me and will not be used in my day to day role. The background to GDPR is not relevant to me and where I have limited time in my role to undertake training it is frustrating when it feels like my time is being wasted. The course needs to get to the point sooner.
