Very good informative course

'Safeguarding Children' is a very good on-line training course. It is well presented, clear and easy to understand and most importantly highlights the many different signs of abuse and how to look out for them and communicate correctly and sensitively with the person who may be experiencing some type of abuse. It shows you how important it is to act quickly by informing the correct authorities in order to hopefully prevent further abuse from taking place.

Comprehensive, well designed.

A good training course which must be used more widely. This course is comprehensive and pitched at the right level without blinding people with legalese... It is long but well worth the investment of time. The real beneficiaries are children.

Not sure it really targetted me

As an HE tutor with only a few under 18s in my classes, it did not really target my needs. I can see its usefulness in secondary and primary, college contexts, however.

Excellent course

Clear and consise

Perhaps have say 3-4 questions after each section rather than having to watch & listen for an hour, then answer 20 questions all at once.

easy to use

I found the course lucid and accessible, and the written summaries at the end of each section were helpful, but it might be a good idea to forewarn users of the end-of-course test.
