I enjoyed some of the examples. It normalises some of your feelings around returning to work.
The multiple short videos seemed long winded they could have been condensed into 3 or 4 smaller videos by linking sections like mental health, exercise and breathing into one etc. However the information was informative and gave good guidance on how to minimise anxiety and stress about returning to the workplace.
Very simple and easy to follow
- It probably needs to be called Returning to the Office – Coronavirus (although this then wouldn’t be as relevant to Furloughed staff who are Returning to Work from Home) - Each module was clear and straightforward - It was helpful to understanding both my/employee responsibilities and employer/manager responsibilities - It was helpful to understand the Return to the Office period as a transition that you can prepare for and also plan once you’re there. - A good coverage of helpful policies that employers need to consider. We need to publicise this more as staff arrive back in the office - A helpful slide or two on re-establishing routine, and really constructive ideas on why Returning to the Office is a really good thing for us. - Quick and practical tips on recreating ‘normal’ again. - Good to suggest that we can ask for changes and adjustments as we need this in the first few weeks. - Good to remind us that we need to be sensitive towards others who may not be feeling how we are feeling, and our responsibilities with hygiene and distancing etc - Referral agency slide could have been more helpful. - Slide 16/17 was a good reminder of manager’s responsibilities.
Most of it was common sense if you have been following government updates ect.
Could have included information about the positive role of trade unions.Useful resources to look at, in your own time.
Useful for most staff returning to work after a long absence.

The course did really well to reassure me of the things that have been going on behind the scenes and made me feel less “forgotten” than I had been talking myself into
