I haven't done any previous training in this area so it was very interesting & also well presented.

Interesting and it explained the different types of modern slavery and the prevalence.
I think the iHasco courses are getting quite repetitive - same format and they take too long to complete, too easy to get side tracked or for your mind to wonder, especially when you have multiple courses to get through in the same month.
Oral presentation indicated maximum penalty for committing modern slavery was life imprisonment, whereas the summary said 18 years.
Hard to believe how many cases of Modern Slavery exist in the UK. This training unit was helpful in highlighting the situation and the signs to look out for.
