A good reminder

This course has served as a good reminder about aspects of mental health and how it can impact practice and life. It is not in enough detail if you have not previously completed some mental health training.

Excellent course and well delivered

Excellent course with a variety of approaches to suit everyone. Practical solutions given and action plans suggested for the future. Perfect start to my first day back in the New Year. It's all a form of 'self coaching', particularly takin time to reflect, and observe your thoughts and behaviour, recognise it, put negative thoughts in perspective and think/act differently.

Too long for a refresher.

Far too long for a yearly refresher course, especially when focussing on workloads and you have to find time to squeeze all this training in.

It was adequate as a starter course

Course covered the basics of awareness but a continuation course offering more detail would be useful as a follow on.

Very Important to be aware.

Very well presented and vitally important to bring this subject to the forefront of peoples minds. I personally believe that it should be accompanied with a practical workshop ( during the course of the year ), where individuals can voice there questions, issues and gain an awareness of how individuals are affected in a variety of different ways.

The course was excellent tin may ways.

The course was excellent to give an insight and guides to ascertain suffering from stress, pressure, anxiety, and depressions it’s not your problem and you should not blame yourself for no wrong reasons. Suggestion to talk to trusted colleagues and seek help if the pressure, anxiety and depression is causing you burden in life affecting your relationship specially with your immediate family; excellent to know the route does exist. The course provided advise on how to assess the situation and control as long as possible but if the problem persist more than 2 weeks then raise an alarm and do not suffer in silence. The course offered other help and advice for further study and education which is good to find out how to communicate your thoughts affectively. The best suggestion would be, to make the course specifically targeted for heads of disciplines just to make them understand the best way to get efficiency out of human resources is far from pressure; by avoiding old school pressure tactics.
