easy to understand.
The course was informative and with lots of information appropriate to the course
This gets the basics across but does not include how to isolate different valves switches and cylinders with stored energy (hydraulic and Pneumatic) with chains props and biscuits and i cant remember it mentioning releasing any stored energy through a bleed valve
The course was well presented. All the key points were well made
To the point, not too much waffle.
Whilst I am familiar with LOTO I enjoyed the opportunity to re-visit this Course.
Bit disappointed as this was text only and only scratched the surface of the subject.
this training should be coupled with practical training on the equipment in plant as isolation is not as straight forward as this course makes it seem
General point: The teaching aspect of the course was really clear but lacked visual or audible effects. Specific point around teaching material to test content: The test didn't reflect the training. The training didn't structure its content around hazardous energy in a way that would enable a learner to know the different types of hazardous energies in line with recognising residual energy. ie Hazardous energy: Residual energy came up in the test but was not taught. The last question on the test was a trick question related to operators using equipment in normal use, which on a test of only 5 questions is a little disappointing. These types of questions are normally used at intervals in the training and keeps a learner engaged. Its the first time I've seen this type of question in the summative assessment.
Really good course. Short and sharp and a great resource for individuals new to LOTO, and a good refresher for individuals already utilising a LOTO system at their own place of work
