I was told by the course that I could review sections if not sure but I found I could not get back to the test to re-do it. Also In section 2.1 (How to stop it) - Additional content, takes you to hse.gov.uk site,if you want to click on them but the training videos do not work unless you have Flash 9, which not everyone has. The cold water video is very short and there are hardly any words least of all an explanatiion , probably needs updating. Also The hot water & TMV videos did not work at all. I just thought it would be helpful to tell you to help others. I if these videos are available some other way I would really like to see them. Thank you.

As a start it was ok

The videos was easy to follow could of been longer with more information and not quick bullet points. More examples of what to look for on tanks actual images of common rust points, good and bad maintained systems would of been help full. The course content needs more Information overall.

Generally fine, but one question caused an issue. The question "How often should a hot water storage cylinder temperature be checked?" was both part of the final test and also asked as a progress check at the end of Section 2. However:This question is not answered in the module. The closest thing to an answer provided is "The intervals between monitoring, cleaning and checking depend very much on the system, its size and complexity and where it is."Also, and more annoyingly, the two questions have different answers. The "right" answer for the progress check is 6 months where as in the final test the "right" answer is one month.

The contagion is dormant at under 20 degrees, in the quiz it says it dies.

After doing the course I clicked on the Test section twice to redo the test. It locked me out and I did the whole the course again but then it would still not let me access the Test. Disappointing.

Some of the facts and figures were difficult to grasp quickly when you are reading or listening to them - this then makes the test that much harder!

The training course was not bad but I had an issue with the videos playing properly and I couldn't get any audio on the videos either after slide 7, fortunately the transcript helped a great deal with the information needed but I'm unsure if the errors with the video are on my side or something else.

I learnt alot from taking part in this course. It was beneficial.
