To start with i was worried that this course, because it was online, no employer would accept it as valid, but after i completed it, i was impressed, although there were a few things i didin't see such as botulism(tinned food), which i feel should have been included, apart from this, it was a well thought out and presented course which i would recommend to all employers in the catering industry for training and devoloping staff
found it very useful, working at my own pace, being able to check back, if unsure of anything, and I am hoping be able to do more courses this way in the future.
Very easy to follow and understand with the facility to go back to any sections that I wasn't sure about.
Annoying that I got 95 per cent twice and couldn't correct the wrong answer as I went. However, very good session, maybe more question slides as the training topics were covered.
Good
I found it very good loads of knowledgeable stuff
Very useful
I would have given this program 5 stars rather than four if it had been shorter. I found that the information was very clear but often repetitive. I would have preferred an option to simply read the information on my own and then take the quiz.
Very good except that test for thermometer http://www.csgnetwork.com/h2oboilcalc.html show that at 1000 meters, boiling point is 99 degrees C, whereas at dead sea, the boiling point would be 101.381. The test shown in the programme is only correct at standard pressure which will be approximatly correct for most people in the UK.
A lot of information prividing food for thought but a bit long winded.
