Not much that I didn't already know, apart from all the new drugs- one point that needs to be corrected is that the smell of alcohol can also be related to diabetic emergencies (the smell is like pear drops and knowing this I once saved an unconscious old homeless person that the crowd around him at the time presumed to be drunk).
The course points out that some industries have special rules for alcohol and drugs. This includes us. So the "general" information, for industries that don't have these rules, isn't really applicable to us. It might confuse people who didn't know that special rules apply to them.

alcohol and drug awareness is important, but i feel you miss any details about prescribed medication, trammodol and morphine, which have simular affects but are not illegal, but the duty of care is the same, and substance misuse does not take this into account, or recognize it
A slightly slower pace would help with retaining facts and figures.

The session provides good awareness and facts - it would be helpful to be able to log back into a session afterwards to refresh as the weeks go on.
So many people need help from the course I have just finished but how many actually get the help they need , its so difficult to see anyone these days ,all you seem to hear about is people taking their own lives when its to late they were crying out for help but where was it .
lots of drugs info - photos of the relevant items would be useful for parents trying to stay ahead of things
