Exactly the same course as previous

This course would be more interesting if there were new examples, presenters etc it becomes uninteresting when you have completed exactly the same thing previously

The course could have been 50% shorter

The course was good

Another sticking plaster - we do not practice what is in the course

Very interesting

When talking about equality it was mentioned on the slides that someone who is deaf there should be subtitles however no subtitles were shown in training.

Fine, provides all necessary information

Provides all the information fairly concisely but isn't very exciting - not much variety in pace or style. Also I would like to have heard much more from the actors with disabilities - hearing their perceptions and experiences of workplace issues would have brought things to life.

issues with language

- you use medical model throughout combining Downs Syndrome with Cerebral Palsy as examples of 'developmental disorder' ! - 'person with disabilities' please use disabled people - on test Q there was a Q on hidden disabilities that was confusing what it was asking and options were can see or not see i think this Q needs to be either taken out or reworded- yes you can have disabled people with hidden disabilities but you can also have people who are neurodiverse and also have a physical disability

Incorrect language

Would have been good if the language used throughout encouraged a social model approach. It is widely considered (and academic research supports this) that 'person with disabilities' is the medical model and that 'disabled person' is the social model approach because the person is disabled by external factors.

OK

Question. in said course it mentioned additional allowance in test/examinations etc for persons with dyslexic. What allowances have been made for people taking the test at the end? Speaking as a person with dyslexia

informative but not interactive

God but due to being online there is no chance for discussion
