About this course

This Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene course builds on the content from level 1 and 2 Food Safety and Hygiene, as well as  Level 2 HACCP training, yet it also revisits key areas to ensure you understand how to handle food safely in your organisation. As a manager or supervisor you want to achieve high standards in food safety, not only because it makes good business sense but also to meet your legal obligations. 

There are many opportunities for food contamination to take place so ensure everyone in your business plays a role to prevent and minimise the risks. As food handlers are required to undergo relevant training suitable for their position, managers and supervisors should be able to understand the relevant training required for all staff, whether it is for new starters or ongoing training requirements. 

Understanding food safety management and how to implement it is vital to ensuring food is safe. Understanding the potential hazards along with how they can be prevented and controlled will help you to comply with the food hygiene regulations.

This Food Safety and Hygiene Training - Level 3 course concludes with a 20 question multiple choice test with a printable certificate. In addition, brief in-course questionnaires guide the user through the sections of the training and are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum user engagement throughout.

These regulations set out the basic hygiene requirements for all food businesses, from premises and equipment to staff training and hygiene. Critically, proof of appropriate practice and staff training are required by law.
