This course is really important to all staff that could come into contact with sharps but is mainly directed at medical staff. There could be more content for people such as Support Workers who may not be aware of sharps in the vicinity and how to take more care in those situations such as specialised PPE ideas.
I really enjoyed listening to this course as it is something we can all relate too as we might have a student with diabetes etc that needs testing or injecting in our setting. Even though i have attended a diabetes training event due to having to deal with a student in the past it still had information in it that i hadn't been given in the past.
