a very high level summary. I would argoing that controlling and monitoring is not a seperate stage but something that should be done throughout the entire project timespan.

I wouldnt call this an Essential Training as you wont learn anything real about Project Management. You can only learn, what to learn. Which is okay, but then the Titel should maybe be "Project Management - An Overview"
Missing key components of Project Management basics, such as Continued Business case justification, Project environment, Risk, Change, Benefits, Contingencies.
A very basic introduction to project management
Really basic introduction to project managment
A useful overview of project management is delivered in an encouraging way. A taster to help identify the skills needed. This won't make you a project manager but gives a roadmap on how to succeed. Useful in many ways if only because it encourages individuals to be positive and have a go.
Little interaction, unlike other sessions and focus on function of roles potentially too heavy.
